disbursed by Yangon City, Myanmar
 
 
 TSS Tokyo Water Co., Ltd. (TSS) has been working on a grant-in-aid NRW (non-revenue water) management project in a part of Yangon City (Mayangone Township) in Myanmar, which is financed by the Japanese government
 Following this project, TSS will take on works for maintaining and managing a water supply facilities in the city, which is disbursed by the city government. 
 For this works, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today to agree on the basic points shown below.  
 TSS will continue contributing to improvement of the water supply in Yangon City, Myanmar, by leveraging its technological expertise and knowhow in cooperation with the Bureau of Waterworks, Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

2.Matters agreed upon
In the MoU, the following basic points concerning the maintenance and management works have been agreed upon:
(1)Purposes: Providing consulting services, including advice on reducing NRW, and
               transferring technologies through training etc.
(2)Period: At least five years (scheduled to start in 2018, to be introduced to each district
           once necessary infrastructure is completed in the district)
(3)Project cost: Disbursed by Yangon City (amount not yet finalized)
